Salary

Mid

B2BPLN 14,000 – 18,000net + VAT, per month

Employment contractPLN 12,000 – 16,000gross, per month

Senior

B2BPLN 19,000 – 24,000net + VAT, per month

Employment contractPLN 16,500 – 21,000gross, per month

Monthly amounts in Polish złoty. B2B is the net amount on your invoice, plus VAT. An employment contract (umowa o pracę) is the gross amount. You choose the contract. We set the ranges from the 2026 salary reports by justjoin.it, No Fluff Jobs, Bulldogjob and Hays.

What you will do

You build and maintain applications in Ruby on Rails: new features, fixes and upkeep of existing code, including tidying up older parts. We use PostgreSQL and API integrations. You take your changes to production and discuss them directly with the client.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL.
  • Tests, for example with RSpec or Minitest.
  • Experience maintaining and refactoring existing code.
  • Independence in clarifying task details with the client.

Nice to have

  • Hotwire (Turbo, Stimulus).
  • TypeScript and React, where the project has a separate frontend.
  • Upgrading applications to newer Ruby and Rails versions.
  • Experience with agentic coding, working with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
