- TapIn (formerly Gigaverse) is a New York platform where communities host live conversations and streams. Łukasz has worked on its web app since December 2023 as a senior full-stack engineer in the client's team.

Problem
A live conversation with hundreds of listeners has to run smoothly in the browser: video, audio and real-time chat, with nothing to install.
What we built
- A web app on React 19 and TanStack Router, with live video and audio through LiveKit (WebRTC).
- Community chat and in-stream chat on Stream Chat.
- Language-model features in the chat, such as AI-generated charts.
- A live-now section on the home page with previews of ongoing conversations.
- A Storybook component library and Playwright end-to-end tests.

The platform is live at tapin.io.
